Aldi has issued a recall for one of its Christmas products
Aldi has issued an urgent product recall on some of its Christmas party food over concerns it could make people sick. With the festive season now well on the way, many people across Greater Manchester will be starting to plan Christmas parties.
Aldi has issued the recall and apologised that it 'did not meet our normal high standards'. The supermarket also urged anyone who had bought the product not to eat it if they had an allergy to sesame, the Mirror reports. The product Aldi is recalling is the Let's Party Vegetable Bao Buns. The buns may contain sesame, an allergen, which is not listed on the packaging as something which people with an allergy need to be aware of before eating it.
The barcode number for the bao buns is 4061463842909. Aldi has also told customers not to eat the bao buns and to return them to their nearest store, where they will receive a full refund.
