Alec Baldwin , 66, claimed that Americans are 'uninformed' while appearing at the 42nd Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy on Monday. During a press conference, the actor stated that Americans 'know little or nothing' about world issues, especially in terms of climate change and conflicts like Ukraine. 'There's a hole, a vacuum... a gap in information for Americans ,' he said. According to Baldwin, the film industry, both independent and narrative, is filling this informational void.
The actor, who was honored with a Lifetime award at the festival, also mentioned that questions about the fatal shooting on the set of 'Rust' were not allowed
