So in theory everything wrong with the world is the alien's fault?
It’s one of the truly big questions: if there are billions of planets out there, why have we never spotted any signs of alien civilisations?
One possible answer is that hi-tech aliens have already spotted us – and are keeping us in blissful ignorance like we’re the exhibits in an ‘alien zoo’. But if we are being kept in a ‘zoo’, there might be a way to convince our ‘zookeepers’ to let us out, scientists have said.At a meeting of the the METI Project in Paris this month, scientists discussed the idea of whether we really are in a zoo.
Perhaps surprisingly, they also suggested how to atract the attention of the ‘zookeepers’ – and get out.
