McDonald's has apologised to customers about the rubbish left outside one of its restaurants
A Merseyside McDonald's has apologised after complaints of an 'awful stink' after 'apple pie, milkshakes and all sorts of s****' were dumped outside a restaurant. A video shared on a local Facebook group showed the Page Moss drive-thru, on Liverpool Road, with outside tables full of rubbish, bits of discarded food on the floor and bins overflowing.
Another member of the Facebook group page added: 'Wanna try standing at the bus stop outside the stink is awful, apple pie, milkshakes all sorts of s**** around it.' Knowsley Council confirmed there have been no reports of anti-social behaviour to the local authority as the land is privately owned and the premises is a private property. However, the council added: 'Our Environmental Health team will visit the premises to provide advice around containment and management of waste.
