The skipper didn't hold back on his teammates as he warned over the results and performances going into the major tournament.
Raging captain Andy Robertson called out his Scotland teammates over a drop in standards following the 4-0 battering at the hands of The Netherlands.
And skipper Robertson didn't hold back on the squad during his post match debrief as he struggled to grasp how Scotland had capitulated. He warned that this level of performance wouldn't be enough against Germany - with the Liverpool star set to lead out his country in the opening game of the tournament this summer.
"The last couple of games we have shipped quite a lot of goals and that is not what we are based on. We are based on clean sheets. In our first five qualifiers we conceded one goal and that is why we have a summer to look forward to, and we have to get back to that real quick. You can't play like that and have four goals conceded.
"At this level, it's all about putting the ball in the back of the net, of course it is. If it's 1-1 it's a different game. But, lads can miss chances. Shanks 9/10, Scotty 9/10 and has has been unbelievable for Scotland and he missed a chance - fair enought. "We want to try and compete. We have a competitive group that we believe we have to compete in and we have to show that. In the last six games, we've dropped our standards, it's as simple as that.
