Former tennis star Annabel Croft has opened up about the death of her husband Mel Coleman, who died 14 months ago, just 16 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer
Television personality Annabel Croft has shared the heart-wrenching final words from her husband Mel Coleman before he died, which she admits "broke her heart".
The couple then decided to travel to Portugal, hoping for some respite. However, Annabel now regrets the decision, as Mel passed away just three weeks after their trip. Annabel also describes the surreal nature of her grief, saying: "After Mel died, it didn't feel real, but as though he was away on a trip and would reappear. Weirdly, the pain of grief feels like it's growing, rather than easing, because of the realisation that he's not coming back."
