Could Gita be making a return? EastEnders has left fans of classic episodes absolutely thrilled in recent weeks with countless announcements of returning characters – but could another one be on the way? In the last week alone, Jane Beale made an unexpected return to the show when Ian Beale paid her a visit, and it was announced that Michael French will soon be reprising his role as David Wicks for a short stint.
During her time on the show, Gita was involved in some major storylines, including one that saw her discover that husband Sanjay had been having an affair with her sister, Meena. In a bid to get revenge, Gita left the Square with the daughter they shared, only telling Cindy where she was going. Gita later returned and reunited with Sanjay, but left again after clashing with his mother.
