On Tuesday, the Klein Fire Department responded to two separate calls regarding ducks that were trapped in neighborhood storm drains.
‘Not approved to open:’ Lazy river pumps, pipes at hotel pool where girl died weren’t approved or inspected by city–
The calls occurred within 30 minutes of each other and involved five ducks and ducklings that had been spotted quacking and waddling around in nearby drains. Upon entering the drains, the firefighters were able to retrieve and free the entangled birds. As the waddlings were down the street from one another, we initially suspected they were en route to a duck convention. Upon arrival, it became clear this wasn't the case.Michael is a Kingwood native who loves shooting hoops, visiting local breweries and overreacting to Houston sports.
