Ant McPartlin's ex, Lisa Armstrong , has posted a poignant message online – amid the TV star's baby announcement this week. The Britain's Got Talent presenter and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett were overjoyed on Tuesday, 14 May, as they revealed the birth of their son Wilder Patrick McPartlin.
While friends and fans have been showering the new parents with love, Lisa, 47, took to her Instagram stories with a cryptic quote amidst the celebrations. It read: "Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you've fought, the moments you've had to humble yourself, the times you've wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength."
Though Lisa has weathered some tough times recently, it seems she is ready for a new beginning, an insider recently shared with OK!. They revealed that Lisa has done "a lot of healing over the past few years" and she's working to get herself to a "good place". "She's done a lot of healing over the past few years and spent so much time being upset and angry about everything. It has been exhausting but she has done a lot of work on herself. It seems everyone is having a fresh start with the end of the show and Ant's new chapter in his life, so Lisa wants to make sure she's in a good place."
