Motorists are being warned to drive safely and obey road rules ahead of the Anzac Day weekend with demerit points to apply in some states.
New South Wales will have officers out in force with an Anzac Day NSW Police traffic operation to take place.
This will coincide with the last few days of school holidays which are set to end on Friday, April 26. “Every driver has a responsibility to themselves, their passengers and other road users. Drive responsibly and drive to the conditions to ensure everyone arrives safely at their destination," Ms Catley said.
