Armed police officers were compelled to breach the bathroom door of a family residence during a significant drug raid. On Saturday morning, law enforcement officials converged on a residential street in North Belfast to implement two search warrants. The Armed Response Unit gained access to the premises by cutting through a locked door. Upon forcing entry, the occupant allegedly attempted to conceal themselves and destroy evidence.

However, they were apprehended by police, who conducted a thorough search of the property and confiscated a substantial amount of class A controlled drugs and cash.Disturbing images circulating on social media depict the shattered bathroom door of the residence, with debris scattering across the floor. A spokesperson for the PSNI, as reported by Belfast Live, stated: 'Tennent Street Neighbourhood Officers attended an address in North Belfast this morning to execute two search warrants. We gained entry with the assistance of our colleagues in the Armed Response Unit ensuring a rapid and dynamic entry was made. The occupant attempted to hide from us and destroy evidence however a locked door did not prevent us from detaining the occupant, searching the address and seizing a quantity of class A controlled drugs and cash.
