The Dutchman paid his respect to the Hoops as the only two league champions in Group E prepare for a hotly-anticipated battle at De Kuip in the Netherlands on Tuesday night.
Feyenoord manager Arne Slot believes Champions League opponents Celtic are a different level to Rangers as he compared the two sides ahead of Tuesday night's showdown.

And this season he does this again with Celtic as well.
Slot also reckons Celtic are a class above Rangers having watched PSV thrash Michael Beale's side in the play-off just weeks prior to the group stages getting underway. He added: "PSV won easily at home, but they were unable to win away. Celtic have only lost to them once in the last six meetings and have been champions nine times in the last ten years.
