Former Arsenal and Everton star Kevin Campbell has died at 54.
On Instagram, Arsenal said in a statement: "We are devastated to learn that our former striker Kevin Campbell has died after a short illness.
"Kevin was adored by everyone at the club. All of us are thinking of his friends and family at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Kevin."He also played a role in the Gunners winning the FA Cup and League Cup double in 1993, as well as the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1994.His move to Everton was subsequently made permanent, with the player spending more than five seasons on Merseyside.Campbell ended his career with spells at West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City.
