Police believe that the fires were started by 'two males who travelled in a vehicle'
Police and firefighters were called to Bevan Place in Nelson in the early hours of July 4. Officers believe the suspects are 'two males who travelled in a vehicle'.
No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported. One month on from the incident, an appeal has been launched for CCTV, ring doorbell footage, pictures and information about the suspects or their vehicle.In a statement issued today , a force spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information as part of an investigation into an arson incident which took place on Bevan Place in Nelson on 4th July 2024 around 01:48 AM in which two vehicles were set on fire.
"Anyone with any CCTV, ring doorbell footage, picture, information about the suspects or their vehicle is encouraged to email the investigating officer DC 1605 on and quote log number 81 of 4th July 2024.
