Asda said it did 'not tolerate anti-social behaviour of any kind'
People have reacted to Asda banning pupils from a nearby school entering without an adult. Reports emerged yesterday that students from Woodchurch High School wearing their school uniform had been banned from entering the Arrowe Park superstore, which is a 15-minute walk away. When contacted by the ECHO, Martyn Canham, the headteacher, said it had not asked Asda to ban its pupils from the store.
“Our school is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, two values we promote are trust and integrity, and we expect our pupils to be responsible citizens both in school and in the local community.” It transpired that Asda had issued the ban as a temporary measure, citing recent problems with the students.
