The Vanquish convertible has been spied undergoing testing and it wears sporty carbon fiber bodywork
The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante has been spied undergoing testing, ahead of an expected debut next year. The model follows in the footsteps of the coupe, but adopts a retractable soft top and lightly revised styling. Power will be provided by a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine producing 824 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. Aston Martin introduced the Vanquish last month and now they’re getting ready to drop the top on the new Vanquish Volante.
This isn't surprising, but the soft top creates a gentler appearance and this is amplified by the unique rear quarter glass. Aside from the new decklid, the rear end largely carries over as we can see a distinctive “Kamm Tail” and blade-style taillights. They're joined by a sizable diffuser and a four-tailpipe exhaust system, which can presumably be had in both stainless steel and titanium guise.
