The chief executive of the builder’s parent company told customers of his ‘heavy heart’ as it was announced the home building company will enter a five-week administration, affecting 730 builds.

It was the second in a series of meetings which Dr Chalmers hopes will help encourage institutional investment in areas of national concern. The first was on affordable housing.

Australia has lagged other OECD jurisdictions in its reluctance to issue sovereign green bonds.

Following the roundtable, ASFI CEO Kristy Graham said the absence of a sustainable finance taxonomy had been “a significant barrier to investment in climate solutions, including clean energy, in Australia”.
