David Littleproud slams Labor over cost of living crisis after new poll reveals Labor falling behind Coalition in voter support
The poll, which surveyed 1,061 voters, marked a one-percentage-point rise in the primary vote for both parties, but Labor remains behind the Coalition 32 to 41 per cent. Speaking to Sky News Australia about the poll results on Monday, Mr Littleproud attributed Labor's performance to the current cost of living crisis.
"While they’re pumping out billions of Australian taxpayers’ dollars to try and paper over the cracks, they’re not fixing the fundamentals." "Whether that be energy, whether it be around food, whether that be around migration... this is where Australians I think are saying that the lived experience is outweighing what they gave Anthony Albanese the keys to Lodge to fix," Mr Littleproud said.National security was an area identified by voters as a concern under the Labor government, according to the fresh survey.
