A new documentary, Avicii: I'm Tim, debuted on Netflix today (Tuesday, 31 December). It provides an intimate look at his life through the eyes of his friends and family. His good friend Jesse Waits shared: 'I don't think anybody really know why or what happened, nobody really knows what was going through his mind, everybody can speculate,' reports the Mirror. 'He seemed good to everybody I talked to that were around him, he was in a good place. It's hard to accept.' Jesse also disclosed his deep regrets about not being there for Avicii, believing he could have intervened. He added: 'I know this is something that is inevitable, but if I was there I could have fixed it. Whatever he was going through, I'd been like, 'F*****g shut the f**k up, f*****g put your shoes on, and let's go out f*****g outside for a walk. 'It's a sentiment likely shared by many, particularly his family, who wish they could have altered the course of events. Avicii shot to fame in 2011 with his hit single Levels, which paved the way for his debut studio album, True. This album was a unique blend of electronic music with elements from various genres.
