Balaclava-clad rivals clashed in a mass rammy in Paisley on Sunday as the new SPFL season got underway.

The shocking scenes were captured and uploaded on social media, showing scores of hooded and balaclava-clad supporters fighting with one another. Around 40 people were filmed taking part in the chaos as participants could be seen throwing punches and kicks at rival groups. In the footage, other peaceful fans could be seen watching on in horror as they tried to make their way home. Officers confirmed a 17-year-old male was charged in connection with the incident. There were no reported injuries.
