The 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony is set to take place on Monday, with the crème de la crème of men's and women's football gathering at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris to reflect on and celebrate the past year. Considered the most prestigious awards event in the sport, nine accolades will be presented to some of the finest footballers over the last 12 months.
Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Martin Odegaard are the four Gunners on the 30-man shortlist, with Chelsea's Cole Palmer also included following a standout breakout season. Manchester City trio Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Ruben Dias are the other Premier League players nominated. The female prize, named the Ballon d'Or Feminin, was first awarded in 2018.
