Whether on cuts, treatments or products to use at home, people can spend an absolute fortune on their hair. And worldwide the hair care industry is thought to be worth a staggering £71bn.
Now experts have revealed a quick, and cheap, hack for smoothing your locks using a common item found in most kitchens. A lifestyle influencer took to social media platform TikTok to reveal an easy trick for reducing frizziness. “Grab some aluminium foil and run it down the length of your hair, try to get everything in there, and it will take the static right out. I was actually shocked at how well and how quickly it worked. So if you have aluminium foil, grab some and give it a try.”
Aluminium foil can be bought cheaply from most supermarkets. A roll of Sainsbury's extra strong foil is currently available for £1.75, which works out at 18p a metre.
