The Ibrox icon is on high alert ahead of the big one as he shares what he thinks the champions will do.
Peter Grant doesn't believe Celtic will risk starting both Reo Hatate and Callum McGregor in Sunday's Old Firm derby with Rangers at Ibrox due to the pair's recent injury woes.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the 30-year-old is now in the frame for a return for the potential title decider against Rangers. The Hoops command a narrow one point lead at the top of the Premiership summit, with the Light Blues having played one game less than their city rivals. "They have missed a lot of games. Calf and achilles injuries are two of the hardest injuries to get over because fatigue becomes a problem. Psychologically, it would be a huge blow if they both started but then you had to take them off. That's why I think one of them will play with Iwata and Matt O'Riley. If they both start, Rangers will be thinking they can use their energy and overrun them because of their lack of game time, and I think Brendan will be very much aware of that.
"I know McGregor has been out for four weeks but he is training now. Hatate played a bounce game during the international break and then played 65 minutes on a horrible surface on Sunday. I think he will play the two of them with O'Riley. It might come down to who gets a grip and a foothold in the game. The best and the quickest will win it."
