There is set to be a break in the hot and humid weather this week
Weather experts at the BBC and Met Office have given their predictions as temperatures start to cool in Liverpool this week.
The BBC reports these highs will remain in place throughout the week, not dropping below 17C while the Met Office predicts slightly cooler maximum temperatures of 15C at the weekend.READ MORE: Furious mum claims Uber Eats driver 'stole' her Asda shopping However both forecasters seem to be in agreement that the chances of on-and-off rain will continue throughout the week, up to Monday, May 20.
And the BBC's outlook for the same period reads: "Wednesday is expected to see a mixture of sunny spells, patchy cloud, and the odd shower. A few mist and fog patches on Thursday morning, with cloud then soon developing from the east bringing spells of rain.
