Antiques Roadshow guest was left gasping in shock after learning that that their £18 painting was in fact worth thousands
Antiques Roadshow viewers were in for a treat on Sunday evening as one participant was astounded to discover their £18 artwork might fetch thousands. In the episode shot at Cromford Mills, Derbyshire, one visitor recounted purchasing an assortment of prints and paintings for £18 six years prior. They originally pursued one specific print but ended up captivated by another painting that they decided to keep and ultimately showcase on Antiques Roadshow .
Joanna then announced that the entire collection was worth an incredible £25,000 in total. Overwhelmed by the valuation, the guest exclaimed: 'Oh never! Sorry, I nearly swore! Really? My goodness me! ', and continued with astonishment: 'I just can't believe this. Crumbs, crumbs! ' Joanna, the expert, shared in the excitement, saying: 'You've done so well, it really has brightened up my day. Thank you so so much! '.
