Immediately after Charlie shared the news, a tribute to Janey was aired on BBC, celebrating her career, time in the spotlight, and her brave battle against cancer. On Saturday, her manager Chris David announced that she had died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. He stated: "It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our client Doctor Janey Godley on 2 November."
