HMRC served the company owned by the BBC Breakfast presenter and broadcaster Annie a petition threatening bankruptcy. The couple were given the papers from the government agency on Monday, claims The Sun. Their TV and broadcasting firm Stayt Limited filed accounts in December for the year ending March 2023, which showed they were £6,409 in the red.
The pair present the programme Thursday to Saturday from Salford, Manchester. He took over the post after Dan Walker left the show in 2022 to join Channel 5 News. Susanna Reid has also previously worked on the daily show but now fronts ITV’s Good Morning Britain. Charlie moved from radio to TV Previously Charlie worked on Five News, where he worked his way up from reporter to presenting live debates and prime-time bulletins.
