Luxmy Gopal was presenting the BBC Breakfast show with Ben Thompson on Sunday morning (December 1) when she was targeted by a cruel remark
A BBC Breakfast presenter brushed off a snide remark about her wardrobe choices, with a swarm of the show's supporters coming to her aid.
However, not long into the programme, Luxmy took to her social media to reveal she had been the target of a negative comment relating to her dress. She shared that somebody had compared her ensemble to "the Quality Street purple one." Despite the jab at her dress, Luxmy appeared to take it in her stride, using a laughing emoji in her post, reports the Express. However, it didn't prevent avid BBC watchers from rushing to the reply section to show solidarity with the broadcaster, showering her with praise.
One viewer complimented the presenter, saying she looked "fabulous as ever" while another remarked: "Yes the Quality Street dress and you both quality as usual. Don't forget your advent calendar have a good rest of day."
