BBC Hairy Bikers leave fans sad as Si King and Dave Myers issue show update
The Hairy Bikers, Simon 'Si' King and Dave Myers, have shared a rather sad announcement about their new series Hairy Bikers Go Local.
"Be sure to catch all of the episodes from GO LOCAL on iplayer! All recipes can be found on the @bbcgoodfood website. Love Si and Dave." And another commented: "Always enjoy our lovely Hairies!!!!! Still 2 recorded shows to watch, but also love old shows too....my fave was up North, but they can't all be the same.....keep them coming boys!!!!!!"
Speaking on the duo’s podcast, Dave said: “Anyway Kingy, I've got to come clean now, I haven't been too well recently and basically, I've got to have some chemo, you know all this anyway, so this year is going to be a bit quiet for me, I'm not going to be filming, some of the festivals I'm not going to be able to go to, some may be okay but this year's a bit of a write off for us.
