BBC star Jay Blades has appeared in front of court after being charged with with engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.

According to West Mercia Police, The Repair Shop host, 54, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning with one count of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.
The furniture restorer was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the late Queen Elizabeth II’s 2021 Birthday Honours for his services to craft. The couple got married in November 2022 He has presented the popular BBC reality series The Repair Shop since 2017 and it was even nominated for a National Television Award earlier this week. He has also hosted Money for Nothing, Jay Blades’ Home Fix and Jay and Dom’s Home Fix.
