A popular Belfast restaurant has been subject to a suspected arson attack in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Owner Bob McCoubrey spoke to Belfast Live at the scene of the incident as the PSNI launched an investigation into the blaze.Bob said: "We got a message from the hotel at 6am this morning saying they had reported the fire. We then came down and saw the scene here and now we are trying to decide if it is worthwhile opening for the rest of the summer.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "Police received a report of a fire in the Bank Street area of Belfast at around 4.40am on Wednesday 26th July. It is believed a bin was set alight, which spread to a gazebo and a store.
