These scams include fake websites impersonating Deliveroo, tricking customers into placing orders for nonexistent chocolate bars. Other criminals create fraudulent e-commerce stores posing as independent vendors selling Fix chocolate, only to disappear after receiving payments. Olga Svistunova, a security expert at Kaspersky, highlights the scammers' ability to exploit trends. She emphasizes the importance of user vigilance, urging them to scrutinize online stores, verify authenticity, and be wary of deals that seem too good to be true.
