Lidl's new Christmas dessert, a Belgian Chocolate Train, is proving to be very popular and selling out quickly.
Lidl is offering its 'best dessert yet' this Christmas . The Deluxe Christmas Express Belgian Chocolate Train is a decadent chocolate yule log, shaped like a steam train, filled with chocolate mousse and salted caramel, with a brownie base and marshmallow steam. It costs £9.99 but is £6.99 with a Lidl Plus card. Shoppers are struggling to find the festive treat, with some reporting it selling out quickly. On Facebook, Lidl fans are sharing how hard it is to catch the train.
Some did manage to get one, but noted they were part of an exclusive group. 'There were literally 8 in my store, I had to be there as soon as it opened to get one,' said one shopper
