The Bexar County Commissioners Court approved a burn ban that prevents outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of the county.
The Bexar County Commissioners Court this week approved a burn ban that prevents outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of the county. According to the Bexar County Office of the Fire Marshal , extremely dry conditions and heavy fuel loads prompted the ban, which went into effect immediately. It will remain in effect until the commissioners court or fire marshal s office determines that the public safety hazard “no longer exists.
