Early vote totals show incumbent Commissioner Rebeca Clay-Flores taking a commanding lead ahead of Amanda Gonzalez in the Democratic runoff.
, after polls closed Tuesday at 7 p.m. and results of several local and state runoff elections are expected to be, Joint Base San Antonio, Port San Antonio, Texas A&M University-San Antonio and the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River.
The San Antonio Police Officers Association declined to endorse in the race despite Gonzalez previously working for Blue Cares, its nonprofit arm.
