Sky News host Sharri Markson says as a recent poll and others indicate, the Voice is in “big trouble”.
Ms Markson says Freshwater Strategy has done polling into the Voice after Opposition leader Peter Dutton announced the Liberals would join the ‘No’ campaign, and it revealed support for the referendum is dropping.
“Anthony Albanese must be starting to realise his overly ambitious model might have been a mistake,” she said. “Having the Voice advise executive government is a model that some prominent ‘Yes’ campaigners are struggling to get behind.”

‘Intelligence agencies are failing us’: ADF using Chinese DJI dronesSky News host Sharri Markson slams Australia’s intelligence agencies following revelations the Australian Defence Force is using Chinese drones from a company blacklisted by the US. The Pentagon blacklisted the Chinese company Da Jiang Innovations in October over its links to the Chinese military, however hundreds of their drones are still being used by the ADF, according to The Australian. Ms Markson said Australia’s intelligence agencies are “failing us – pure and simple”. “The US is trying to limit its exposure to Chinese companies in sensitive areas – Australia, it seems, isn't as proactive,” she said.
