Dolphins CEO Terry Reader insists there's 'no pressure' on his team as they prepare for their biggest challenge yet in the first-ever Battle of Brisbane on Friday night.

The Brisbane Broncos will play the NRL’s newest team the Redcliff Dolphins in front of a sold-out Suncorp Stadium in the first-ever Battle of Brisbane.

“History is going to be made here tonight with Brisbane coming up against the Dolphins, the whole city is a buzz just waiting for this game,” he told Sky News Australia. “The first thing I think you need to look at is it is the first ever Battle of Brisbane for the rivalry but for our team there’s no pressure on our team, everyone’s already written us off and in fact they’ve written us off most weeks,” he said to SkyNews.com.au.

“There’ll be more red than maroon there tonight because its our home game, the club’s already signed 27,000 members which I think is in the top three of the NRL. Renouf admitted he was surprised at the way the side had begun the season and credited the leadership of his former and now Dolphins coach. The Dolphins also boast an impressive development and juniors program that gives the clubs a major talent pool to draw from.
