A bikini bodybuilder is taking legal action against a clinic after claiming that an 'unlicensed' hay fever jab caused a golf ball-sized hole in her bottom. The injection allegedly left her with fat atrophy, impacting her bodybuilding career.
A bikini bodybuilder claims an 'unlicensed' hay fever jab could have punctured her competition-winning hopes as it left her with a golf ball-sized crater in her bum - which is getting bigger. Ashleigh Sives Jackson noticed a distinct concave impression on her right bum cheek two months after receiving an injection at a private clinic to treat her hay fever. The 29-year-old was given the steroid jab in May last year to help combat her hay fever symptoms before the summer.
However, the personal trainer claims the injection left her with a condition known as fat atrophy - a loss of fat in an area of the body - allegedly causing a six-centimetre golf ball-sized hole in her bottom. Ashleigh - a bodybuilder who travels across the world in bikini competitions - fears the 'blemish' may impact her scoring at future events. The personal trainer has even considered forking out £10,000 for plastic surgery to help conceal the hole, which she says is growing in size. Ashleigh, who lives in Redcar, Middlesbrough, fears the 'imperfection' has potentially jeopardised her bodybuilding career and has subsequently launched legal action against the clinic that administered the jab.
