A suspect is to stand trial charged with murdering a man who died in hospital

Mr Bates is said to have been left so severely hurt that he passed away at Glasgow Royal Infirmary four days later. The case called for a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow where Ferguson's lawyers pled not guilty on his behalf.Lord Boyd set a trial due to begin in November. The case could last around seven days.
