Don't miss out on those sausage rolls and mince pies
Birds Bakery has announced its opening times for stores over the festive period. Up until Monday, December 23, all Birds shops will be open as usual for customers to pick up their favourite Christmas treats - with around 350,000 mince pies likely to be sold.
However, between Christmas Eve and New Years Day, there will be amended hours at all the shops across Nottinghamshire including Beeston, West Bridgford, Bulwell and Mapperley. Christmas Eve: All stores will be open from 7.30am and close at 3pm. The bakery shop will close at 1pm.New Years Eve: All stores will close at 3.30pm. The bakery shop will close at 1pm.Jamie Bird, director of strategy at Birds Bakery, said: “Christmas is a time for friends, family and food and we want to give our customers the chance to be able to pick up that last-minute treat before the festivities begin.
“We also want our staff to be able to enjoy the Christmas period with their loved ones so our stores will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. We want to wish everyone who continues to support Birds Bakery a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing some festive faces in the next couple of weeks and welcoming them back in store in the New Year.”
Birds Bakery has 61 stores across the East Midlands. If you want a Birds treat in the warmth of your own home, many products can also be ordered online and delivered to customers’ homes using the Birds By Post service, which must be ordered by December 16
