Despite struggling business due to a rainy summer and beach problems, Blackpool is undergoing a resurgence with new investments and projects, aiming to become a conference capital of the UK.

Millions of pounds worth of funding from central government includes Town Deal projects such as courts relocation, Blackpool Airport investment and a new community sports village. The historic Bonny Street Market has been demolished to make way for a £300m tourism project. Some are pinning hopes on a £30m plan to make the resort something of a conference capital of the UK.And there aren't many areas of the town where that is more evident than Cedar Square.
He explained: "This area in Blackpool is 'the new Northern Quarter', with the street food market opening, a new wine bar is coming and there's other places like Common. The response since we opened has just been unbelievable and people are saying it is the best chicken they have ever tasted. I just hope we can carry on the hype."
Another compliment was that Tom worked as a pizza chef himself, but stated it was "better than what we have near us." "Especially because we're far back from the front, the stags and hens stay that end, we don't get the wild side of it. We get a nice people who come out to have a nice time and enjoy themselves."
