San Antonio native and “Blood In Blood Out” actor Jesse Borrego stars in “The Compass,” which will screen at CineFestival today, July 11.
' Blood In Blood Out ' actor and Alamo City native Jesse Borrego is starring in a new San Antonio -based film, which is screening today as part of the annual CineFestival. Borrego features in ' The Compass ,' a five-part short film about a compass that takes its users on surprising journeys. The film is produced by Paul Ardoin , associate professor and director of the UTSA Film and Media Studies Program.
Blood In, Blood Out’ star dreams big about a film studio for San Antonio Borrego told UTSA that his wide range of experience in productions big and small prepared him to mentor the students. 'Not only have we worked on the million-dollar productions, but the Indies, the Barrio indies — the local scene between here and Austin,' Borrego said of himself and the other mentors.
