The discovery was made at Molendinar Park in the city on Saturday, December 10. Officers investigating his disappearance have confirmed formal identification has taken place.
His family have also been made aware. The 55-year-old was reported missing from the Milton last month. He was later seen on CCTV in the Cowcaddens area of the city at 2pm on Thursday, November 24. Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious. A Police Scotland statement reads: "The body of a man was found in Molendinar Park, Glasgow, around 10.40am on Saturday, December 10, 2022. The body has been identified as 55-year-old Thomas Houston, who had been reported missing from the Milton area of Glasgow."A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
