A criminal probe into Boeing by the US Justice Department is further shaking public confidence in the corporate behemoth Boeing’s boss Dave Calhoun is set to leave the aviation giant by the end of this year in the wake of a safety crisis following a cabinMr Calhoun, the chief executive of the planemakers, will retire immediately with Boeing’s chairman Larry Kellner not standing for re-election.
Following an investigation into the incident, the US National Transportation Safety Board said four key bolts had been missing from the door plug. The Federal Aviation Administration has grounded Boeing 737 Max 9 planes and the US Justice Department has begun a criminal investigation into the company.

Boeing CEO to Resign as Company Struggles to Repair ReputationThe CEO of Boeing has announced plans to resign as the plane firm fights to repair its reputation.
