The first far-right rioters have appeared in court following riots in Merseyside last week A 14-year-old boy and nine men will appear in court following far-right riots last week across Merseyside. The riots across the area are just one of a number that have taken place in major cities across the UK over the last week. During an incident on St Luke’s Road, Southport, rioters set vans alight and targeted officers with bricks.
Officers were dressed in riot gear as a large mob targeted them with bricks and other debris. The far-right rioters then caused more chaos in other parts of the city including Walton.
