Mohammed Khan has been jailed for 12 years and put on the sex offenders register for life.
A controlling rapist made his girlfriend watch Islamic faith videos to ‘become a better muslim’ while regularly beating and sexually assaulting her.
He made her watch instructional videos on how to conduct herself, while he would violently abuse her. Khan’s abuse was uncovered when the woman’s family contacted police after growing increasingly concerned about the drastic change in her behaviour and appearance. ‘Part of Khan’s abuse was teaching her she couldn’t say “no” to him, he warned that if she did he’d go elsewhere for his gratification.
