Mikey Graham was the only Boyzone member who didn't reunite with his bandmates for the new Sky documentary series Boyzone
Mikey Graham has put the brakes on any potential Boyzone reunion, having not exchanged words with his former bandmates for over half a decade. The new Sky documentary series " Boyzone : No Matter What" delves into the group's rollercoaster journey, touching on their sell-out tours, dealings with Louis Walsh, two splits, and the heart-wrenching loss of Stephen Gately.
Known as 'The Quiet One' during the band's heyday, the Raheny-born singer disclosed that he hasn't been in contact with his ex-bandmates since their final performance on the Thank You and Goodnight tour, which took place more than five years ago. "I hold no grudges, no animosity, nothing. " Mikey Graham candidly shared the personal struggles he faced during his time in the limelight, as detailed in "Boyzone: No Matter What". Despite the group's phenomenal success across the UK and Ireland, with a string of chart-topping hits, Mikey grappled with feelings of rejection after being replaced as the lead singer and turned to alcohol to cope.
"My confidence that I had beforehand about music fell to the floor. "However, I don't want to go back to how I felt for many years. To see them for too long would remind me of that and my future is way too important to me to waste it looking back on my past."
