Two couples had three-course Sunday roasts before lying to staff and leaving without settling their bill.
Father's Day is coming up this weekend and it is often a time for families to get together and go out for a meal to celebrate. But on the big day last year, a group of diners were shamed online after ditching a restaurant without paying their £215 bill.
They even lied to staff, saying two of the group were in the toilet, when they had already left, and then claiming that they were going out for a quick smoke before they would then pay - but they didn't return. "They are not from round here, you want to trust people, but this wasn't an accidental walk off. You can see one of the men shushing the other as they walk away on the CCTV."
