Brit indie band Her’s ‘were killed by driver travelling the WRONG WAY down a motorway’
A BRITISH indie band killed in a fiery car crash during their US tour may have been hit by a driver travelling the WRONG WAY down a motorway.
Police said they were responding to reports of the pick-up being driven the wrong way down the highway before the deadly smash. “We don't know the exact speeds, but two heavy vehicles coming into contact at full speed, the impact is huge and devastating.Vocalist and guitarist Stephen, originally from Barrow, in Cumbria, and bass player Auden, from Kristiansand, Norway, formed popular band Her's after meeting at university in Liverpool.
It said: “Their energy, vibrancy and talent came to define our label. As humans, they were warm, gentle and hilarious.“To say they were close would be an underestimation of a friendship that was genuinely beautiful to witness; they loved one another like brothers. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Stephen, Audun and Trevor, please respect their privacy at this extremely difficult time.”
“I'm pretty much hooked on these tunes. This one is absolutely killing me right now. These guys are the sweetest band I've ever worked with. Get into it, folks.”
