Two 13-year-old boys who knifed a teenager to death when they were aged just 12 have had their sentences increased after being found guilty of murder. The boys, now 13, were originally sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of eight years and six months. However, lawyers for the Solicitor General argued that the sentences were 'unduly lenient' and should be increased due to the 'particularly serious type of case'.
